The Terms & Conditions detailed are made between EVANS TIMBER and DIY hereinafter known as “The Company“ on the one hand, and the customer hereinafter known as “The Customer” on the other hand, shall be deemed to be binding upon both parties.
1. The Company shall retain ownership for the goods until paid for.
2. Goods will be delivered in a safe place, which will be agreed upon order placement. If goods are delivered by The Company without the presence of The Customer, an agreed delivery place will be discussed prior to delivery.
3. The Customer is expected to examine the goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery, and to notify the company of any fault or damage as soon as reasonably possible.
4. As soon as the company have delivered the goods, the customer will be responsible for them. If the customer delays delivery, the company’s responsibility for everything other than damage due to the company’s negligence will end on the date the company agree to deliver them.
5. After delivery of the goods, the customer will be responsible for their safe keeping, and the customer should make sure that the goods are adequately insured against any damage or loss which may occur.
6. The company will not be liable for any damage to premises as a result of delivering goods under the customer’s express direction, where to deliver the goods in the manner or position instructed will inevitably cause damage.
7. All sizes and weights stated are approximate, sizes shown are nominal and are not quoted as accurate.
8. We reserve the right to cancel and refund orders processed online which are subject to an online error. E.g. An online price has been updated incorrectly from our system. Such cases are not a common occurrence and we take steps as a business to ensure any errors are corrected immediately upon discovery.
9. The Company’s Website Launch offer giving the customers 10% off first orders will be applicable up to and including the 31st March. Once the customer’s delivery info & email has been used, they will no longer be eligible to use this offer again, offer will only apply on orders under £500.
